
Forty Water’s latest offering, “The Block Brochure” is a three album monstrosity, chronicling everything from celebrating the hustle of single mothers, raunchy sex jams, to the grimey stripped down wordplay of Droop-E, Kendrick Lamar and E-30 on what might be the first standout single from the compilation.
The beat on “Catch a Fade” sounds like someone banging on an empty oil drum in a warehouse – reminiscent of the “Tell Me When To Go” beat seven years later after getting a nasty knife scar and serving some time in the local penitentiary. E-40, hands down the best rapper with glasses.
