Jay-Z performed at the Carnegie Hall last night for a good cause. Proceeds benefitted the United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.

Hov performed hits with a 36-piece orchestra behind him – but the biggest song of the night was an ode to his daughter, Glory. When the song was over, he said:

“I didn’t think I was gonna make it through that one. That was tough.”

She’s only 10 years old giving me the chills. Willow Smith performed at this weekend’s 2011 Kids Choice Awards and completely killed it!

This is cool for so many reasons:

1. The record “My God” is what I like to call, a “slapper”.
2. I love CLIPSE. Therefore, I love Pusha T, who makes up 1/2 of the group.
3. My boy, HIT BOY produced the record. (He’s the cool guy to Pusha T’s left.) Also known for producing, “Talk That Sh*t” and “Froze” by Chris Brown.
