Drake sat down with Google Music for a great in-depth interview about Take Care, haters, iconic females and getting into the minds of women.

Women buy records, women fall in love with music and they listen to it when they fall asleep, and it moves them. I have a fascination in getting into the minds of women and truly letting them know how I think as a man – and letting them know how I view them as women. That should appeal to men as well.

He also reveals that Lil Wayne has so much confidence in him that he heard Drizzy’s album for the first time when it had already hit the shelves – that way he couldn’t have made any changes.

The 31-year-old rapper’s attorney Ashutosh Joshi told MTV News that Gucci will serve six months behind bars after pleading guilty to two counts of battery, two counts of reckless conduct, and one count of disorderly conduct for pushing a woman out of his vehicle in January.

“I am pleased that justice was achieved for the victim because this defendant’s behavior showed a willful disregard for a woman’s personal safety,” DeKalb Solicitor-General Sherry Boston said in a statement.

The Brick Squad MC’s last jail stint was in April when he was sentenced for several probation violations, stemming from a 2005 aggravated assault case. He is currently serving time at Georgia’s DeKalb County Jail. “It’s a case that we knew about, that we expected would come about at some point,” Joshi said.

His sentence also carries three years of probation, which he will serve upon his release. In addition, he was ordered to complete 12 weeks of anger management classes, pay $5,091 to cover the victim’s medical bills

Being born in the late 80′s, most of my childhood memories were made in the 90′s. That whole era was Aaliyah’s stage – and I was in the first row trying to be just like her. I remember having sleepovers at my girlfriends’ houses and we’d stand in front of the mirror trying to learn all of Aaliyah’s dance moves. Baggy jeans, baseball caps, side bangs, the hip rotation – I wanted to master it all! When she passed away, I was devastated. I worshipped Michael Jackson, The Spice Girls and Aaliyah. Don’t judge me. Being a mere 13 year old squirt, I noticed the outpour of love and positive thangs people would say about her on August 25, 2001. To this day, I want to live like Aaliyah did. I never met her, but being a small pebble in the rock wall of fans she had – I recognized her incredible energy, light spirit and the pure love she exuded. THAT is how I want to live.
