Vinnie Chase and his entourage are heading to the big screen.
Warner Bros. has given the film version of the HBO series “Entourage” the green light, Deadline.com reports. The series followed the life of actor Vince Chase, played by Adrian Grenier, making it big in Hollywood with his boys, or his “entourage,” Eric, Turtle, his brother Johnny Drama and Chase’s fast-talking agent, Ari Gold.
The film will be directed by the show’s creator, Doug Ellin, who was also the executive producer along with Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson. The series’ stars — Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillion and Jeremy Piven — are all working to close deals for the film. There is no word yet on a plot.
