Alicia Keys will be joining the ranks of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Billy Joel and so on by singing the national anthem for the 47th annual Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl will be airing on CBS on February 3 and don’t forget Beyonce will performing at the half-time show.

Nick Cannon:

When you think about what the show is actually about and represents…I feel like it’s taking away from the quality of what ‘Idol’ is all about. This is about people accomplishing their dreams, experts guiding these young people to do what they’ve done.

My wife is the strongest and classiest woman that I’ve ever met, if you watch the video, she just maintains her composure…I don’t think she’s moved by the theatrics and pageantry of it all. She signed up to do a job to help young people accomplish their dreams and this is like a sidebar. I hope that’s not what this show becomes, about the cat fights. The show is solely about a singing competition, that’s why America loves these shows, they want to see people reach a certain goal or win …and then to make it about something it’s not, it kind of shows that the producers and the network are losing their foot a little bit.

Talk about product-placement!! Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber dropped the visual art for the remix of All I Want For Christmas is You. In the vid, Biebs goes on a shopping spree in Macy’s with his boys while Mariah is super chillin’ looking pretty.

Sidenote: Mariah first released this song in 1994 – Bieber was around a year old.

It’s not even Christmas yet and we already get this nice little present from Justin Bieber featuring Busta Rhymes on their rendition of “Drummer boy”. The track will be featured on Justin’s Christmas Album Under the Misletoe which will drop November 1st. The track also has Justin’s rapper alter ego Shawty Mane. Take a listen. After being pregnant for what seems like a whole year, Mariah Carey FINALLY gave birth to her twins on 4/30/11 in an undisclosed LA hospital. April 30th also happened to be their wedding anniversary too. Kinda cool.

How long has Mariah Carey been pregnant?! Seems life forEVER. Her babies are probably going to be born as freshman in college. Give birth already!
