Jay-Z performed at the Carnegie Hall last night for a good cause. Proceeds benefitted the United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.

Hov performed hits with a 36-piece orchestra behind him – but the biggest song of the night was an ode to his daughter, Glory. When the song was over, he said:

“I didn’t think I was gonna make it through that one. That was tough.”
