I’m actually not surprised that 15 years post his passing, Biggie still has a heavy influence in the music industry. On Friday at Lil Cease and Faith Evans’ tribute to B.I.G in NYC, Cease, Maino and Uncle Murda squashed their decades-old beef and jumped on stage together. That’s huge!

I also had the pleasure of interviewing Cease A Leo *Biggie voice* yesterday – he opened up as to why he thought Lil Kim didn’t show up to the party, and who Biggie woulda loved to work with if he was still alive. See more HERE.

Common talked about his beef with Drake at the Grammys’ red carpet last night, and announced it was over. It’s still unclear about who started the battle, but Common said:

It was all in honor of hip hop.

This year has been ridiculously exciting thus far. Rick Ross dropped a ridiculously hot mixtape, Beyonce and Jay-Z had a baby, and Common/Drake started up some juicy carne asada beef.

After releasing a straight forward diss to Drizzy on Rozay’s Stay Schemin’ – Drake has yet to respond. So, Common spoke to WGCI in his hometown of Chicago and broke some thangs down for us.

1. The beef didn’t start because of Serena Williams
2. If the whole YMCMB crew got involved, he’d get his G.O.O.D music amigos involved too

Jeezy says:

Turns out when Rick Ross thinks he’s “BIG MEECH”, he should have gone through the proper channels to see if that was okay. Big Meech is head of the Black Mafia Family (BMF), and one tough guy running a criminal enterprise, cocaine distribution and money laundering – oh and Jeezy happens to be affiliated with the real BMF.
